Admittedly this is not quite up to the standard set by Google and Ideo but it just may be the start of great things for the walk 2012 blog:
Obviously the video has nothing to do with walking, but I’m trying to figure out effective ways of presenting the big idea for walk2012. This is very much at the beginning, but I’m really impressed with the videos that Google and Ideo put out and I’d love to emulate them in some small way. I think the answer involves good images and a bit of animation. This video is an attempt at the latter using a bit of open source software called Synfig. Its my first go at anything like this, so expect to see improvements being posted soon!
